These are all the answers Dash came out with by himself! With the exception of the animal noises which are taught by me or songs, he wasn't taught the answers to the questions at all. They are actually his real answers after thinking about it. I even try to trick him by saying animals which don't make noises, but he still managed to come out with answers. (Bear - There is a song that is about a teddy bear saying good night. Crocodile - the crocodile in Gingerbread Man says "I'm gonna get you.") When asked what Anna (Frozen) says, he knocked on the door and said "Elsa?" like the start of "Do you wanna build a snowman", but the phone hung so I didn't get to record that.


For some reason he seems to think I say "Oh my god" all the time, hahaha! Which I do I guess! LOL!

And he always tells himself "No need to cry" after crying for something he can't get. It's the most adorable brave little face ever, comforting himself with his tear filled eyes.

He can actually memorize the lyrics for the whole song!

Even as an adult, it took me a while to memorize all the words but dash can recite all of them flawlessly and even correct me when I'm wrong.

Of course the video is edited so it's more fast paced and he didn't sing every verse because, well, sometimes babies don't perform on cue. Still, thanks for your singing Dash!

Dash is 1 year and 5 months old.

Some time ago I post this on my instagram:

"This is my favourite part of the day! ?

After Dash's second nap, I will wake him up gently and carry him from his bed to the couch. He will usually whine a little because he is still sleepy (but have to wake up if not at night can't sleep), then I'll let him lie on my chest while I sing him songs.

He will lie still with his eyes half open, listening. If I sing a song he likes, he will smile to himself happily.

Nowadays, I will ask him "Mama sing, what song do you want?" And he will answer me with a song he likes!

Sometimes he sings with me and he would occasionally lift his head up to smile at me, the most sincere smile that crinkles his eyes and makes my heart surrender.

This vulnerable and cuddly side of him lasts all of 15 mins and afterwards he is running around independently like usual. But just for that 15 mins, he is my little newborn baby again."

After the post, people asked me for a video of this, so I tried to take a video!

Dash's favourite song that day consists of me singing cockadoodledoodledoodledo over and over again so I apologize for the annoying and slightly deranged voice.

Hehehe at 0:59 he pokes his fatty cheek.
