When I write, I’m in my pijamas, hair unwashed, teeth unbrushed. My focus-face resembles, to my great dismay, my father’s face when he’s listening to politics news.😅

When I talk about finding passion, I tell people that 1 sign of Passion is that it’s something painful which you find strangely pleasurable.
Writing is like that for me. (I have a friend who’s a documentary film maker who says movie editing is like that for her.)

I love the pain of choosing one word over the over, crafting a sentence, deciding to keep or remove this coma, of realising you’ve just written 8000 words for a 4000-word article and now you have to cut everything in half.

It’s so painful and yet, I love it.
Writing makes me come alive.
