For our #kentingweds Tea Ceremony, I chose to wear the Kua, a traditional wedding dress embroidered with a dragon and phoenix; where the dragon represents the male and the phoenix represents the female. 🎎
Having them side by side symbolizes the perfect balance of yin and yang of the bride and the groom. 💘
It was also a befitting occasion to don the 四点金 Si Dian Jin from SK Jewellery a gift from my mother-in-law, featuring the Phoenix and Peony, to pay respects and show appreciation to my elders. I’m glad the gold jewellery really complemented the Kua! 👑
