⛰ 京那巴鲁山 (Mount Kinabalu) 是亚庇马来名称的来源。这座高山位于亚庇的东侧55公里处。天气晴朗时市民可以看到山峰。
🔥 亚庇的名称来源不详。虽然马来名称已经该为【哥打京那巴鲁】，但是本地华人坚持称呼【亚庇】。
💥 1882年，英国在亚庇一带建立殖民地。第二次世界大战时不料被炸毁。艾京生钟楼 (Atkinson Clock Tower) 是少数遗迹之一。
🏞 原本亚庇一带平地稀缺，所以亚庇市中心多数以填海而成。
🇲🇾 亚庇是马来西亚最多元种族的城市之一，每个族群的人口都不超越25%。
