Some days are really ordinary. And some days are not. Today is definitely not ordinary. My youngest, Will, started preschool.
Instead of indulging in the ‘I can’t believe he’s not a baby anymore’ sentiment, I’d like to take a moment to recognise everything it has taken to get him to today - he’s self-assured, friendly, inquisitive and excited about school. His principal called me to report that he’s calm and he mingles easily with his classmates and teachers. @ngan28 and I, we don’t give ourselves enough credits as parents sometimes. That confident stance, that face and that smile and that protective sister of his - we did that. ❤️
