聯署信 - 強烈反對「荔枝窩自然步道」工程 暴力破壞自然生態

荔枝窩是香港數百年歷史的地質公園，具特殊科學價值。但「新荔枝窩自然步道」嚴重破壞自然生態 。步道工程也揭示了一連串的問題，包括工程缺乏公眾諮詢、計劃透明度低，政府相關各部門的政策協調、溝通及監管不足，也缺乏對生態保育意識，等等。詳情可參與聯署信的內容。
本關注在此發出聯署信，希望集合社會大眾力量提出對事件的嚴正關注，要求政府重視問題的嚴重性，積極研究補救方案，緩解工程的影響；並重新審視及完善現有工程政策，以防止事件再次發生。請各位用行動支持，一同簽署此聯署信，多人聯署令信件更具說服力。

Lai Chi Wo is part of the Hong Kong Global Geopark, well-known for its breathtaking scenery and ancient vegetation. It is designated by the Hong Kong government as a Site of Specific Scientific Interest (SSSI). Unfortunately, the current government enhancement/construction project taking place at the boardwalk inside the Lai Chi Wo Nature Trail and the Sam A Tsuen viewing platform have been constructed with concrete instead of natural materials. Roots of precious trees with great historical and ecological value were chopped and concrete columns were built there crushing the roots. All these reflect the lack of policy, supervision, coordination, conservation awareness and transparency on the part of the government.
The Concern Group would like to urge government departments to put in place immediate solutions, and scrutinize existing policies and practices so that the same will not happen again. Please join us by signing this petition letter. The more signatures we gather, the stronger our petition could be! We need your support!
