グラフィックは非常に美しく、ボス戦に於ける背景の切り替え処理等もなく(家庭用機移植版では初)AC版に近い再現がされている。
BGMはSuper Darius(PCECD/'90年)の録音監修を行った、とう氏が編曲、音色の違いが目立ち、原曲とはかなり違った趣の仕上がりになっており、2019年3月に発売された「PCエンジン mini」に本作が収録された際、隠しゲームとしてグラフィックは勿論、BGMをよりAC版に近付けた"near Arcade"バージョンが収録された。
