Video - Balancing your Baby
Research has shown that gentle stimulation of the vestibular system does stimulate brain growth.
We started doing these activities since birth .
There are many ways to do them .
Start with rocking them on your chest .
You can move them side by side .
You can swing them up and down .
But always hold their neck gently for support .
Start with a slow rocking motion .
Stop if they cry or uncomfortable .
We usually do them twice daily lasting for 10-15 seconds. Increase the duration as the baby adapts to it .
Do the activity before feeding .
Its also a great way to bond with your baby.
Will share more tips on stimulating your baby's brain growth to bring out their true potential .

Few days ago Joreen did quite a few mischievous things that leads hubby to place her at the calming corner. (she will scream & cry easily recently, "fournado?")
She continues screaming & crying.. (mama was in the room resting due to giddy spell)
But Joreen continues in this state for quite some time.. Hence mama came out to check them out. Instead of the usual questions, what happened, why cry? (was inspired by @transformingtoddlerhood to understand Joreen more & calm down myself 1st)
Mama went to just hug Joreen tightly, no questions ask. She is still crying loudly but slowly calming down. After she calm down, mama told Joreen, "mama understand Joreen was upset /maybe angry just now? Would you like to share with me the details?"
Joreen replied "yes I'm very sad, little bit angry. It is very very long to tell you (she meant there were so many things happened). Very very long, do you want to listen?
Mama said of course! Mama will listen all, you slowly say.
Joreen shared everything and end of it, she told mama what she did is naughty, she is sorry & she is not angry with daddy anymore. So she apologise sincerely, hug us & say I love you!
She even told mama that she can be better tomorrow! Awww...
Mama asked her "how about we start tonight?" Joreen said Yessss 🤣😍
Happy ending ❤️ no scolding.
Joreen indeed is having a hard time to calm down. She used to be a sensible & understanding sweet gal. I mean she still is but sometimes.... 🙈
A gentle hug & more patience do wonders! And must willing to listen to our kids too (reminder to self)

MAKE BRUSHING EASY AND FUN!
Did you know that dentists recommend you start brushing your child’s teeth as soon as their first tooth appears?
Usually, childrens’ first tooth break through when they are around 6 months old. As soon as you see that first tooth, you should start brushing your baby’s teeth twice a day – in the morning and in the evening – in order to get your baby used to daily brushing routines. For a small child, teeth brushing is a completely new experience! When you help your child get used to having a toothbrush in their mouth twice a day, that is a big and important step on their way to developing a good oral hygiene routine.
It is important to make the routine a positive experience right from the start. Children love trying out things themselves. Let your child hold a toothbrush, play with it and try to brush their own teeth – it will make the whole process more fun! After a while, your child will look forward to it.
Is your baby biting down on the toothbrush, making it hard to brush properly? This is completely normal. Biting on a toothbrush is an instinctive behaviour to help soothe their gums as their new teeth begin to break through. Just make sure you choose a toothbrush that is soft, gentle and safe for new teeth and sensitive gums. Brushing your child’s teeth should be fun and easy!
6 TIPS FOR GOOD DENTAL ROUTINES:
Start brushing your child’s teeth with a fluoride toothpaste as soon as their first tooth appears. Children’s first teeth usually start coming in at around 6 months, and by the age of 3, they usually have 20 baby teeth.
Help your child brush their teeth and explain what you are doing. Brush twice a day for two minutes, once in the morning and once before bedtime.
Brush gently, with small circular movements along the gums.
Remember small children can’t spit. Be sure to choose a mild-flavoured toothpaste and use the right amount– no more than the size of a pea.
For babies, it is important to choose a gentle toothpaste with a mild taste and low fluoride content.
Since children have less Dexterity and motor skill development than adults, you should help brush your child’s teeth. In Scandinavia, dentists recommend that parents help their children brush their teeth until they are teenagers.
Remember to use the right amount of toothpaste – no more than the size of a pea for small children

This is a short and effective total body workout which you can do either first thing in the morning or before you end your day. It'll help to stretch your body, boost your metabolism and burn calories!
Exercises
1) Squats / Jump Squats
2) Shoulder Tap Push-Ups
3) Lunge & Twist
4) Burpees
5) Mountain Climbers
6) Leg Kickbacks
7) Leg Lifts
8) Plank In-Out
Sequence: 8 intervals (45secs Workout - 15secs Rest)
Total Time: 8 minutes (1 set)
You can repeat 3 - 4 to make it a full solid workout. Rest 1 minute in between set to keep your heart rate constantly elevated.
To progress:
- Perform 3-4 sets.
- Lift some weights to make the exercises tougher or add jumps.
- Choose the advance version.
