DIY Tapioca Bookmarker (Don’t Drink!)
究極タピ活!! 飲めないタピオカミルクティー

[Things you need]
・ UV-LED resin
・straw
・ Flat brush
・ Silicone mat
・ LED light (9w)
・ Nozzle attachment
・ Black beads (Onyx)
・Acrylic paint ocher, white
・purified water
・ Resin toning plate
・Toning stick
・Resin colorant color drop red
・tweezers
・ Scissors
・ Needle
・ Hexagonal beads
・ Bookmarker (Gold)
・ Chain (Gold)

[Steps]
1. Apply resin to the end of the straw and stand vertically on a silicone mat for about 30 seconds with a light.
2. Remove the resin from the straw and place it on a silicone mat. Draw a small amount of resin inside to make the bottom of the cup.
3. Put an appropriate amount of black beads in the cup.
4. Mix acrylic paint and purified water to make a milk tea color and pour it into the cup. Mix with a toning stick to remove air.
5. Drop a red colored resin on a silicone mat, flatten it, and cure it for about 30 seconds.
6. Apply resin to the edge of the cup and place a flat, red resin on it. Cut off the excess part with scissors.
6. Make a hole in the red part with a gusset needle and insert the hexagon stick beads. Close with resin to prevent getting the water inside.
7. Completed by connecting the book marker with the chain and heaton.

・ブックマーカー(ゴールド)
・チェーン(ゴールド)

【作り方】
1. ストローの端にレジンを塗り、シリコンマットの上に垂直に立てライトで約 30 秒硬化する。
2. レジンをストローから外し、シリコンマットの上に置く。中に少量のレジンを垂らしてカップの底を作る。
3. カップの中に黒いビーズを適量入れる。
4. アクリル絵の具と精製水を混ぜてミルクティー色にし、カップの中に注ぐ。調色スティックなどで混ぜて空気を抜く。
5. シリコンマットの上に赤く色をつけたレジンを垂らして平たく伸ばし、約 30 秒硬化する。
6. カップのふちにレジンを塗り、平たく伸ばした赤いレジンを乗せて約 30 秒硬化する。余分な部分をはさみで切り取る。
6.赤い部分にまち針で穴を開け、六角棒ビーズを差し込む。中の水が出ないようにレジンでしっかり塞ぐ。
7. チェーンとヒートンでブックマーカーと連結して完成。

※作業中は手袋の使用、部屋の換気をおすすめします
※レジンは高温となりますので取り扱いには十分注意してください。

What's in my MInimalist Bag

I’ve been seeing some minimalism challenge videos on Youtube and that’s where the inspiration for this video came from. I didn’t have to do a declutter inside my bag because this is how I’ve always had it. I like small bags and I only carry with me the essentials because I don’t like carrying a heavy bag lol

So inside my weekend bag, I carry with me my wallet, keys, a small mirror, lipgloss and cellphone. I got more things in my work bag which include wallet, ID, pen and scissors, hand lotion, lip balm, cereal box, lunch box, small notebook, scrub hat, paracetamol and keys.

So what do you carry in your everyday bag? Let me know, I’d love to read them.

In my quest for minimalism, I told myself at the start of this year that I wouldn’t buy any clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, even socks and underwear because I already have more than enough and I have everything I need. I grew up in a buy buy buy culture. Part of our family routine every Sunday was to wander the mall and buy something. It was aimless shopping just for the sake of buying something. When I was younger, I didn’t really question that. Today, I am more conscious of the things I buy, and the things that I have at home. There’s still so much I want to do. I’m taking little steps and I hope you join me in my journey.

Minimalist Shoe Collection and Decluttering

This is my Minimalist Shoe Collection 2016. Some people might say that this is not minimalist enough and that’s okay. Each person is different. Some people might only have 6 pairs of shoes (like my partner) and some people might have 14 (me!). Minimalism is not a contest. For me, it’s being happy with what you have and being conscious of what you own. I currently have 14 pairs of shoes and that works for me. There isn’t a pair that I forget just because I keep them in boxes during winter. When spring/ summer comes, they fulfil their life purpose of being worn and complementing my outfit.

What I currently own:
3 pairs of boots
1 gumboots for rainy days
1 gym shoes
3 flat shoes
3 sandals
3 formal shoes
