I understand the new Qianhai plan is not widely discussed among Hong Kong youth, but it indeed presents exceptional learning and development opportunities to our next generation. It may also help tackle some of our pressing challenges, like land and housing. Here are my views in South China Morning Post.
//The rich experiences in Qianhai would entice young people to stay longer, and local governments could take the opportunity to experiment with affordable new housing models and, more specifically, a public home purchase scheme at discounted prices, targeting middle-income Hongkongers willing to work and live in Qianhai for at least a few years.
This would support young Hongkongers in overcoming the home ownership challenges in their home city while not compromising their quality of life. Ultimately, the Qianhai plan would help address the most pressing challenge of housing in Hong Kong.//

這是最好的時代，也是最壞的時代。
有人說我們的社會撕裂，但我卻感受到香港人史無前例的團結。
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
Some said social cleavages emerged in our city,
but what I witnessed was an unprecedented unity of HongKongers.
2019年6月16日，香港經歷有史以來最大規模的示威遊行活動。多達200萬人參與遊行，抗議政府修訂《逃犯條例》草案。除撤回修訂逃犯條例外，不少民眾要求行政長官林鄭月娥下台。身穿黑衣的示威人潮迫滿街頭，令港島一帶馬路宛如「黑海」。亦有不少人手持白花，紀念日前在太古廣場墜樓的「梁烈士」。示威者手持不同的標語表達訴求，當中包括「學生沒有暴動」、「釋放被捕人士」、「追究警暴」等等。當首批遊行人士抵達金鐘添馬公園終點的時候，仍有不少遊行人士在維多利亞公園等待出發。儘管香港在當年暑假發生了一連串的事件，特首林鄭月娥要到9月初才正式撤回備受爭議的《逃犯條例》修訂草案。

劍魚扒兩塊 - 2 swordfish steak
孜然粉一湯匙 - 1 tbsp of ground cumin
甜椒粉半湯匙 - half a tbsp of paprika
辣椒乾一茶匙 - 1 tsp of dried chilli flakes
蒜兩瓣 - 2 cloves of garlic
鹽一茶匙 - 1 tsp of salt
黑胡椒一茶匙 - 1 tsp of black pepper
橄欖油¼杯 - 1/4 cup of olive oil
以色列 Couscous 150克 - 150g of Israeli Couscous
橄欖油三湯匙 - 3tbsp of olive oil
法式芥辣一湯匙 - 1tbsp of Dijon Mustard
砂糖(或蜜糖)一茶匙 - 1tsp of sugar (or honey)
檸檬汁一湯匙 - 1tbsp of lemon juice
薄荷葉八片 - 8 mint leaves
蕃荽五克 - a small handful of parsley
小蕃茄10個 - 10 cherry tomatoes
青瓜¼條 - 1/4 of a cucumber
去核橄欖10個 - 10 pitted olives
希臘羊芝士20克 - 20g of feta cheese
