First staycation since the March school holidays, and how things have changed.
No walking in and out of the hotel freely, showing identification so that your name is checked against the guest list every time you enter the hotel, no buffet breakfast, no usage of pool without advance booking.
BUT still plenty of recharging, rediscovering and bonding together. Best done over snacks and card games, I say. 😁
I love Japanase Food! A lotttt....do you? I happen to stumble into a very nice Japanese Restaurant in Bayan Lepas,Penang. Michi Michi Is not the traditional kind of Japanese Restaurant you have in mind, it's the total opposite. So hip and trendy,totally modernised. The interior of the place is very nice so this place is totally instagrammable and they even have a 'Magic Chair' to surprise you 🤭

Here are some of my personal favourites, the Ramen here is to die for, we had the Seafood Ramen and there was not a little seafood in it but a lot. Check out the prawns 😋 Ramen at Michi Michi originated from Kyushu,Japan where the Pork Bones Broth ( Tonkotsu soup )is cooked typically anywhere from 12-14 hours with fresh ingredients, depending on the recipe and on what is the desired outcome. What you will be happy to know is that there are no MSG + Salt In the broth, what we tasted was naturally flavoured.

There are set lunch/dinners available too at Michi Michi, like the one we have here was Set C - A drink, macha ice-cream,Kushi, Gyoza, and Potation Salad at RM14.90. The Gyoza was so good, I believe this is because it is handmade so its fresh.

There are a few snacks which I would personally recommend, the Yam Sticks (RM9.90), the Grill Scallop (RM14.90) and the Tamago Black Sesame (RM8.90) These few is a must try! Die die must try.

Theres a wide range of beverages available too, we had their latest addition the Yuzu Lycher Fizzy (RM12.90) which was very refreshing since it was so hot that day and we also had the Ice blended premium Matcha (RM15.90) which I finished by myself 😂 I gave the girls a taste of it and that was about it. Lol.
There's coffee Available too, we tried their Matcha Latte and Latte.

For dessert we had the Michi Waffle which was served with my favourite Mochi. So good.

We found a new spot for weekend gateway! Just 2 hours away from KL 😘
If you are looking on where to spend your weekend, i would recommend Muar town ❤ this town deserved to be on your must visit list!
Filled with historical buildings (some of the buildings are nearly a century old!)
Nice food for you to try out, we had the famous Kopi 343, mee siput (so far i only found it here, such a great crunchy snacks 😘), asam pedas muar, Muar Otak - Otak Cheng Boi, Muar Soup House, Cendol Kampung Hulu and more actually haha.. tomorrow going to have satay muar for breakfast LOL
We also spent the day walking around town hunting for beautiful #instagrammable mural all around town, look at sunset at Tanjung Emas (beside one of the oldest mosque here with classic architecture)..
At night, we go to Muar Art Street for snack and more photos haha..
Tomorrow will be check out Piala Hektar Choral Speaking Finals (second year it is hosted and student ✌ Good Luck to all contestant.

We continued our Taiwan travel adventure taking @UNI AIR to Penghu Taiwan. It was a very quick flight and we arrived in Magong City in Penghu in no time!

This neon street that we took photographs at is located near the Grand Lisboa and The Lisboa Hotel. There is no other urban photography location like it in Macau, especially for night photography.
Adding the neon purge masks were the perfect Halloween costume for this Halloween photo shoot. We hope this helps give you some Halloween photography ideas.
