This girl was eating her favourite masago gunkan (sushi rice wrapped in seaweed and topped with smelt roe) today when she felt something hard and took it out to show me. I thought it came from the food and told her to leave it aside before she exclaimed "Mummy, it's my tooth!" Haha. Yup, she dropped her first tooth, a top central incisor!
She didn't find it painful even though there was quite a bit of blood. What was hilarious was that we then realised there were about 5-6 roe stuck in the tooth and we couldn't get them out, so we brought everything home to clean. Lol.
She has written a note to Tooth Fairy and has been looking forward to this day for a long, long time. See that big, cute smile? I guess there's gonna be some magic in our home tonight!
