本週內容:
進入二月份, 在台灣新年的氣氛漸濃. 在美國二月是黑人歷史月, 『爵士無所不在』也特別為大家準備了福音音樂特集, 帶大家進入非裔美國人在美國內戰後所發展出來的重要宗教音樂歷史, 而這份歷史也是後來影響藍調, 爵士樂, 搖滾樂, 放克音樂等無數音樂類型的音樂. 因此福音音樂是絕不可不認識的音樂類型.
在介紹福音音樂的首集, 將先為大家介紹非裔美國人的聖歌. 這些聖歌的獨特之處在於能讓我們瞭解當時黑奴的生活故事和對自由的渴望. 早期的聖歌主要是由當時由Fisk University 學生所組成的Jubilee Singers所演唱. 因此他們的故事是首集的重點. 在2017年, 主持人Vincent也實地造訪了這座著名的非裔美人大學, 更參觀了當時大學圖書館展示的Jubilee Singers特展.
