「韓式蘿蔔生蠔飯」
材料:-
有機耙齒蘿蔔.......200g
生蠔......................400g
金芽去蠟白米.......2杯
水..........................2.1杯
昆布......................1片
做法:-
1. 把蘿蔔切條備用。
2. 將米、水、昆布、蘿蔔放入鍋內煮至熟透。
3. 在飯差不多完成前兩分鐘加入生蠔,然後靜止於鍋內焗10mins;吃時把昆布拿出,把飯輕輕拌勻即可。
小貼士:-
1. 日本米需要預先用清水浸泡30mins 讓米粒吸收水份,這樣煮好的米飯會更飽滿。
2. 蘿蔔易生水,所以煮飯時,水的比例需要比平常下少一些。
??另提供醬汁做法。
醬汁材料:-
蔥花..................2棵
韭菜(切碎)........2棵
韓國醬油...........2湯匙
白開水...............2湯匙
蜜糖...................1湯匙
芝麻油...............1湯匙
已烤白芝麻........1湯匙
辣椒粉...............1茶匙
蒜蓉...................1茶匙
做法:-
把所有醬汁材料混合即成。

An easy and popular dish of Peranakan origins, it is important in getting the rempah (spice mix) right. Our very simple recipe includes red chili, buah keluak, toasted belachan, which is quite simple. These days wet market sellers remove them from the shells, making them quite easy to prepare.
A thin egg pancake is made and cut into thin strips to go with the rice. We used Kinmemai Better Brown rice for the fried rice, which has its outermost indigestible wax layer removed for easy digestion too. This makes for a really healthier & hearty dinner even if you have little time for cooking!

A traditional nonya kueh favourite, Kueh Salat is also known as Kuih Seri Muka and is very popular in Asia.
We used pandan juice and pandan paste amongst other ingredients amongst other things to create the kaya mixture/layer. We used rinse-free Kinmemai Better White Rice, which has more fibre, vitamins and better immune system boosting nutrients compared to conventional white rice.
We used dried blue pea flowers to create the blue coloring to drizzle over parts of the rice, and then poured the kaya mixture to complete the dish.
