从新马到港台都拍过戏的张耀栋，觉得大陆娱乐圈对艺人会比较多尊重，尤其在称呼这方面，新马两地比较不明显，但随着大陆文化影响力的增加，新马娱乐圈也慢慢朝这方面学习。
之前以特约演员身份到香港拍摄杜琪峰导演的电影《三人行》，他举经验说，香港团队本来对他不熟悉，后来看到他会演戏，对他的态度明显有更尊重，所以或许也跟演员本身的实力有没有让人信服有关。
