จากรายงานของ SuperData เกี่ยวกับตลาดเกมดิจิทัลทั่วโลก ระบุว่า Horizon Zero Dawn นั้น เปิดตัวบน PC ได้ "ยิ่งใหญ่ใกล้เคียง" กับ The Witcher III: Wild Hunt ที่วางจำหน่ายบน PC เมื่อเดือน พ.ค. ปี 2015
