今天早點下班站在診所大門前面照了一張相片，各位好朋友可以發現，除了黃建榮婦產科診所幾個大字以外，我們多了台北試管嬰兒中心幾個字，英文TAIPEI IVF。

我進入試管嬰兒領域初期，澳洲有一個非常出名的試管嬰兒中心叫做Sydney IVF (雪梨試管嬰兒中心)，然而在美國的波士頓有一個 (Boston IVF)波士頓試管嬰兒中心。
這兩個中心都是世界上非常出名的，不管是在臨床治療、研究發展上都非常傑出。

那個時候，我就非常嚮往有一天也能夠設立TAIPEI IVF (臺北試管嬰兒中心)。

我們最近請專人設計了一個台北試管嬰兒中心的logo，大的圓象徵一顆成熟飽滿的卵， 小的圓則是象徵活力充沛的精子，大圓小圓結合世世代代繁衍，讓每個家庭充滿希望、幸福、喜悦。

這個新的logo也呼應我們過去的貓頭鷹的logo，貓頭鷹是原住民的送子鳥，每個家庭希望幸福喜悅。

Taipei ivf 也象徵著我們要邁入國際性的里程碑，希望本中心在國際發亮發光， 造福台灣以及全世界不孕症的患者、透過精進研究、發表新的論文，在不孕症的領域繼續的努力向前。

這幾天我們會分享一些國際性的友人， 在我們這邊進行試管嬰兒懷孕的美好經驗。

今天分享的這位好朋友，他的小朋友已經出滿月了。在快接近預產期之前，她先生排除萬難從美國趕回來台灣，在居家隔離的14天尚未到期前，寶寶就生出來了。非常遺憾的不能夠親自陪產，但是因為疫情而產生的各種溫馨的故事令人非常的感動，我們祝未來回美國以後，全家平安快樂，很快又可以懷第二個寶寶。祝福他們。

黃建榮婦產科診所，也就是台北試管嬰兒中心，祝福各位好朋友早日懷孕、心想事成。

這份分享文，我在診所畢業時（懷孕滿12週）就已經寫好，但一直被診所提供的關於IVF懷孕率，活產率與母親年齡的統計數據所困擾，一直不敢貿然的發出去，又由於自己一直覺得就是因為自己及先生先天的不足才需要求助於醫生，並沒有值得對外放送的理由，但黃醫師對我說，正因為你的狀態不佳但成功了或許能更激勵大家，所以我在寶貝滿月的這一天帶來了我的好消息，期待這份遲來的的分享文，仍然能給正在猶豫、或是正在努力的大家帶來多一點的信心及希望。

求子過程的艱熬及患得患失，的確是沒有經過的人很難感同身受，我是在多年努力求子不成下，在去年初回台時，做了檢查才知道自己的AMH值極低。在台灣美國都同時做了試管諮詢及完整的檢查。考量到年齡所以不想浪費時間做人工受孕(美國保險有六次免費人工受孕療程）下，仍決定回台灣做試管療程，對我而言，美國的醫療僅管先進但缺乏溫度。

由於雙方生理數值條件都很不理想。本沒報太大的希望，只是不想給自己往後留有遺憾，所以毅然決然地做了療程。並於去年十一月第一次療程植入兩顆胚胎並成功懷了單胞胎。

接到診所打來告知懷孕的電話，那份激動的心情及無法控制情緒的那一刻，直到現在仍歷歷在目，感謝黃醫師及專業的醫療團隊在療程中給予的協助與鼓勵。 因為有你們的專業才成全了我現在所擁有的幸福。也謝謝寶寶的到來完整了我的生命，現在我將這份幸福及幸運分享出去，也給予和我一樣求子心切的大家滿滿的祝福，希望大家都能夠心想事成有好孕。

Our 18 month journey brought us to this joyful and appreciative moment. We are joyful for beating the odds as couple in their early 40s. Despite the very low prospects of success with just two viable eggs on our first attempt, we were able to bring into the world our first child, Devin.

We are appreciative for the support you and your staff offered. Your professionalism allowed us to achieve the best possible outcome for a procedure that ordinarily has only a 18% chance of success. The success is also a testament to the remarkable achievement in human understanding, to be able to take such delicate elements of life and bring them together in what otherwise would not happen. It is an extraordinary feeling of accomplishment to play a deliberate and decisive role in bringing into existence a life. We thank you for your guidance and expertise in this journey.

There is perhaps nothing more personal, more anxiety filled for new parents than the participation of giving life that carries their unique signatures.

There is nothing more humbling than encountering those who dedicate their professional lives to helping those same parents successfully achieve one the most intimate and personal decisions a couple will ever make.

School holidays might be a time to party and play, but it is also a crucial time when you prepare your child for the next school year, especially if it is a huge milestone for him/her.

I am still finding it hard to believe that come 2019, I will have two primary schoolers as the little sister will be embarking on her P1 journey. Beside having an elder sister in the same school, one of the ways I help her to look forward to the new phase is by labelling her books, stationery and belongings and feeling the excitement together too.

Let's hope you will treasure your belongings and don't lose them (much) when you enter Primary School next year, but more importantly, always remember how much I love you and know that you will forever be that special Ariel in my heart.
