Not the prettiest but these plastic holders are cheap, practical & fun to look for at Old Town, PJ.

Sometimes there are budget-friendly alternatives here in Malaysia.
Here I placed my brushes in chopstick holders(also referred to as cutlery holders).
They cost me approx RM20 each.
I do have a bit of poly palettes in them but I'm not a fan of those.
Whatever the material of those beads, they will somehow, sooner or later scratch your brush handles.
Imagine that happening to your expensive makeup brushes!
So what I do is use shredded paper(you can find colourful ones at DAISO)

Beauty Tip! Have you always wanted to get those beads for your brush holders but can't find them? They're not actually beads, they are "clear plastic poly pellets", the hard pellets used to stuff teddy bears and dolls. You should be able to find something very similar at your local arts and crafts store! Then all you need is a fancy cup! The beads will hold your brushes up, making them tons easier to grab and use in the morning! Here are some of my brushes in their brush holders :D
