Watched a powerful documentary last night on @Netflix about the Trans community, called Disclosure. Wow! It made me realise that I’ve had the honour of being in a creative industry where I get to meet so many different types of people. Fashion school had many queens and the entertainment industry had even more! 😂Even though I’ve been raised as a Christian and the Bible has “rules” about these things, I’ve never agreed with it. I’ve always felt there was an injustice to those who have been persecuted for their identity, their beliefs and their sexual orientation. I still don’t understand why certain groups are denied or mocked, and still attacked. I recognise the privilege I have and I hope through all this #wokeness that one day we can all just love who we want, sooner than later. I’m sorry you’ve had to endure so much in this process and I hope the world will continue to listen. Standing with all my friends in the LGBTIAQ+ community this month of #Pride!!!!
