Looks can be deceiving and sometimes we fall into that trap, because naturally we are attracted to pretty things.

I excitedly ran to this field of flowers when I saw it and called @deborahrowe over to help me take a picture, then Mark, our guide from Ridgeline Adventures, told us that this flower is the Broom and it's a pest plant!
It thrives in poor conditions and is able to multiply very quickly. So sometimes, the prettiest things can be the most dangerous too. Oops.

Very often, we are too occupied with work that we forget to relax and worse, some forget to have fun.
I take my work seriously, but I also take my travel seriously. It's time away from the bustle of the city and also a chance to meet new people and discover new cultures. Something new is round the corner for you each time!

Sometimes being on holiday can be hectic too, with early call times and packed itineraries, so I take moments like these to bask in the splendour of the view.
I take a moment to myself in the wind to be grateful to what I have and how fortunate my life is.
Helloooooo Wanaka, you're looking mighty fine! Ridgeline Adventures took us on a Wild Hills Safari tour through a private farm that only they have access to; thus this view is exclusive!
