Would you trade 5 hours of shooting for a 20 seconds time lapse? Yesterday was perhaps one of the best days for photographing the milky way in a long time. I have about 5 hours window before the clouds start roaming in from the horizon. Not the darkest nor clearest sky, there's quite a bit of thin clouds in the sky but it was an amazing 5 hours.

Image quality of EOS R5 is Extremely good. The dynamic range seems 1 stop better then EOS R or 5D IV. This timelapse video shot with a built-in intervalometer and power supplied with a USD-PD battery.

Filmed and recorded during my trip to South New Zealand back in May 2019. It was autumn season and most of the streets are full with beautiful autumn foliages. We rented a campervan that can accommodate 6 people, and it was our home for 9 days in the south island. We stored our food, cooked, peed, charged batteries and slept in the van throughout the whole journey.
The only regret I had is I do not have as many footages as I wanted due to many non-flight zones. As there are airports in almost every places we had went, the non-flight coverage area was huge and I was unable to let my drone to take off, hence aerial footages were limited. However, we were blessed with clear skies for few nights, we were able to locate the milkyway with our bare eyes.
This film is made up of timelapse footages consist of 2,265 pictures with more than 8 hours total shooting time, and with more than 60 video clips.
