"If the bus can be on schedule, commuting between my house and Princeton is in fact very convenient."
But that's under the circumstance that the bus could be "on SCHEDULE".
What does it feel like to live in a western country? TBH, after visiting so many countries around the world, Taiwan and Japan are still the most convenient place to live in. Before graduated from the university, I had to commute from Puli to Taichung twice a week for the French tutoring class, if the bus was only 5 minutes late, I'd become so anxious and needed to control myself so hard, in order NOT to complain to the customer service ( And... I've never done that.)
After leaving Asia, I finally realized that being on schedule is not a common thing to have.
Want to take a bus at 7 o'clock? Well, please wait at the stop before 7 o'clock because I'm not sure if the bus will be on time or be 40 minutes late!
