相反，如果女朋友本身氣血充足，個性火爆性急，容易出現偏熱症狀例如喉嚨痛、暗瘡等，就要炮製涼性的茶包給她飲用，例如梨乾綠茶，梨子可生津潤燥，綠茶能清熱；亦可飲用我們出品的「熱氣茶」，有清熱解毒的作用。長遠還是要鼓勵她多喝水，例如送她一隻漂亮的杯或保溫瓶，間中短訊提示她見字喝水吧！

做法：紅棗切片，材料加入熱水沖焗5分鐘即可。

紅糖薑炒米水
材料：乾薑6克、即沖炒米水粉1包、紅糖適量
做法：材料加入熱水沖焗10分鐘即可。

【熱底人】秋季養生茶包
梨乾綠茶
材料：梨乾2-3片、綠茶葉1茶匙
做法：材料加入熱水沖焗5分鐘即可。注意沖泡綠茶水溫不宜過高。

Homemade healthy flavored drink
“My girlfriend doesn’t like to drink water. I’m thinking of making some healthy tea for her to drink every day, perhaps red date tea. I hope the sweetness of the fruit will encourage her to drink more water.”

CheckCheckCin: Your girlfriend is blessed to have you as her boyfriend! Preparing health tea sachets is a good idea but we need to be careful with the ingredient selection. You mentioned red date, which is warm in nature, can nourish the qi and replenish the blood. They are suitable for individuals with asthenic qi and blood.

People with asthenic qi and blood normally carry symptoms such as shortness of breath, pale complexion, catch flu easily, dizziness and heart palpitation. You can also add jasmine flower tea to relieve anxiety; another option would be brown sugar and ginger with boiled rice water. Brown sugar can strength the spleen and warm the stomach, as well as ward off cold and invigorate the blood; ginger can eliminate cold and warm the body, is suitable for ladies with aversion to cold.

On the contrary, if your girlfriend has healthy qi and blood circulation, is short-tempered and impatient, and carries heat-related symptoms such as sore throat and acne, then we should prepare cooling health tea for her. For instance, dried pear green tea, as pear can promote salivation and relieve dryness in the body, whereas green tea can dissipate heat; or you can try our ‘heat relieving tea (re qi cha)’, which can dissipate heat and eliminate toxins.

In the long run, you will still need to encourage to drink more water, perhaps buying her a beautiful cup or flask would help. Do text her from time to time, to remind her to drink water!

Autumn tea for cold body type
1/ Jasmine tea with red date
Ingredients: 4 red dates, 10g jasmine tea
Preparation: Slice red dates. Combine the ingredients with hot water and steep for 5 minutes until aroma develops.

2/ Fried rice water with brown sugar and ginger
Ingredients: 6g dried ginger, 1 sachet of fried rice water, brown sugar
Preparation: Combine the ingredients with hot water and steep for 10 minutes until aroma develops.

Autumn tea for hot body type
1/ Green tea with dried pear
Ingredients: 2-3 slices dried pear, 1 teaspoon of green tea
Preparation: Combine the ingredients with hot water and steep for 5 minutes until aroma develops.
Remarks: the water temperature for brewing green tea should not be too high

2/ ✔Beauty tea recommendation: Very Hot (Qi)
Ingredients: Plumeria, Chrysanthemum Bud, Spreading Hedyotis
Effects: Clears heat and detoxifies. Suitable for bad breath, frequent eye discharge, red and dry eyes, frequent loss of temper and scanty or yellowish urine

紅玫瑰花

山楂洛神花茶 — 送給血氣運行不暢的她
功效：活血化瘀，紓緩黑眼圈、面色暗啞、靜脈曲張、暗瘡印等血瘀症狀。
材料：乾洛神花3朵、乾山楂5片、紅糖適量
做法：乾洛神花及乾山楂放入保溫瓶，以熱開水沖洗一遍，再注入熱開水焗5分鐘，加入紅糖即可。此茶可反覆沖泡至味淡，一星期連續飲用4天為一個療程。
備註：此茶味酸，不宜空腹飲用，胃部容易不適、孕婦、女士月經期間不宜飲用。

雞蛋花
花語：復活、孕育希望、新生
屬性：性涼，有清熱祛濕及滑腸的功效。
雞蛋花木棉花胎菊茶 — 送給不自覺會鬧脾氣及眼乾目赤的她
功效：清肝明目、清熱化濕，紓緩眼乾目赤、多眼垢、小便偏黃等濕熱症狀。
材料：雞蛋花10克、木棉花6克、胎菊6克
做法：材料放入保溫瓶，以熱開水沖洗一遍，再注入熱開水焗15-20分鐘即可。此茶可反覆沖泡至味淡，一星期連續飲用2-3天，連續兩星期為一個療程。

桂花
花語：美好、崇高、吉祥
屬性：性溫，有安心寧神、暖胃止痛的功效。
桂花烏龍茶 — 送給容易緊張到胃痛的她
功效：疏肝理氣，紓緩壓力引起的胃部不適等症狀。
材料：桂花3克、陳皮1角、烏龍茶6克
做法：材料放入保溫瓶，以熱開水沖洗一遍，再注入熱開水焗5分鐘即可。

Ingredients: 10g rose, 10g jasmine
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly and place into thermos, rinse with hot water once. Then add in hot water again and steep for 5 minutes. You can re-brew until its flavor weakens. For best results, drink consecutively for 3-4 days for two weeks. 
Note: To relieve menstrual discomfort, have this tea 3-7 days before period. Not suitable for menstruating women and pregnant women.

Roselle
Meanings: Hope, quiet, waiting 
Effects: cold in nature, can clear heat, aid digestion and improve skin quality
Roselle tea with Chinese hawthorn - for ladies with poor blood and qi circulation
Effects: improves blood circulation and reduce blood stasis, relieves blood stasis related symptoms such as dark eye circles, dull complexion, varicose veins, pimple marks 
Ingredients: 3 dried roselle, 5 dried Chinese hawthorn, appropriate amounts of brown sugar
Preparation: Rinse dried roselle and Chinese hawthorn and place into thermos, rinse with hot water once. Then add in hot water again and steep for 5 minutes. Add brown sugar to taste. You can re-brew until its flavor weakens. For best results, drink consecutively for 4 days for one week.
Note: As it is sour in taste, it is not suitable to have on an empty stomach. Not suitable for those are prone to abdominal discomfort, menstruating women and pregnant women. 

Plumeria
Meanings: Resurrection, creating hope, new life
Effects: cool in nature, can clear heat, dispel dampness and moisten intestines
Matricaria Recutita tea with plumeria and kapok- for ladies who do not realize they will lose their tempers easily or those with dry and red eyes
Effects: clears liver heat and improves eyesight, clears heat and dispels dampness. Alleviates damp heat related symptoms of dry and red eyes, eye discharge, yellowish urination.
Ingredients: 10g plumeria, 6g kapok, 6g chrysanthemum
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly and place into thermos, rinse with hot water once. Then add in hot water again and steep for 15-20 minutes. You can re-brew until its flavor weakens. For best results, drink consecutively for 2-3 days a week for two weeks.

Sweet osmanthus
Meanings: Beautiful, noble, auspicious
Effects: warm in nature, can calm the mind, warm the stomach and relieve pain
Oolong tea with sweet osmanthus- for ladies who is prone to get stomach pain when nervous
Effects: relieves stress and regulates qi. Relieves stress related abdominal discomfort.
Ingredients: 3g sweet osmanthus, 1 dried citrus peel, 6g oolong tea
Preparation: Rinse all ingredients thoroughly and place into thermos, rinse with hot water once. Then add in hot water again and steep for 5 minutes.

昨天在Netflix上看「Marriage Story（婚姻故事）」這部電影，
誰看過？舉手舉手！
我相信每個人一定都有自己鍾愛的一段，
我自己最愛的是開頭，
兩人各自寫了一段喜歡對方的部分，
（目的是什麼我不能說，因為會小爆雷…）
因為太喜歡這段了，所以看完之後決定用這段當作今天練英文的素材。
看起來好長一段，但相信我，當下在聽打的時候真的一點都不感覺無聊冗長，只覺得怎麼這麼簡單的文字、簡短的話，但卻這麼深刻，真的太扣人心弦了！

我自己練習的步驟：
關掉字幕一句一句聽打出內容 ->對照英文看有沒有錯，順便用自己的話理解 -> 對照中文，加深裡面出現的idioms / slang 的印象 -> 抄寫其中很愛的幾句在英文筆記本裡（因為聽打的階段我是用電腦打字）

常常在聽打的時候，就會很驚訝發現，
天啊！這句話我以為很難講耶，沒想到竟然用這麼簡單的字就可以表達這麼好！
這種「WOW~太神奇了吧！」就成為每次我在練習時的樂趣，呵呵～

例如
She always knows the right thing to do when it comes to difficult family shit.
difficult family shit – 翻譯是翻「嚴重的家庭危機」，但我更喜歡自己的詮釋「跟家庭/家人有關的鳥事」
很多人看到「家庭危機」一定直白想到什麼crisis / issue 甚至 problem之類的，是也可以啦，但family shit就更口語表達這種”shitty things”，滿可愛的耶！

She’s always inexplicably brewing a cup of tea that she doesn’t drink.
Inexplicable / inexplicably – 中文解釋是「無法解釋、令人費解的(地)」，之前一直覺得這個字好像都用在比較文鄒鄒的地方，沒想到在這裡可以當做「她總能神奇地泡好一杯茶，雖然她自己不喝」，有點這種「我真的搞不懂她欸」的感覺。

I get stuck in my ways, and she knows when to push me and when to leave me alone.
Get stuck in my ways – 翻譯雖然是翻「裹足不前」，但平常我們講話真的很少用這個成語呀！所以我自己詮釋是「我自己卡關、猶豫不決很想逃避的時候」
Leave me alone – 字面上解釋是「不要管我讓我一個人獨處或是你走開啦」，但語氣比較平和地講的時候也可以表達「可以讓我靜一靜嗎？/ 給我一點時間冷靜好不好？」

She always says when she doesn’t know something, or hasn’t read a book, or seen a film or a play, whereas I fake it and say something like “I haven’t seen it for a while”.
（她不知道的事情或是還沒看過的書、電影或戲劇，她就會老實說沒看過，不像我會裝懂的說「我很久沒看了」。）
這句我自己講的話一定會分很多句才能表達清楚…自己也做筆記學起來

Nicole grew up in LA around actors, and directors, and movies and TV, and is very close to her mother, Sandra and Cassie, her sister.
Nicole gives great presents.
She is a mother who plays, really plays. She never steps off playing or says it’s too much. And it must be too much some of the time.
She’s competitive.
She’s amazing at opening jars because of her strong arms, which I’ve always found very sexy.
She keeps the fridge over-full. No one is ever hungry in our house.
She can drive a stick.
After that movie, All Over The Girl”, she could’ve stayed in LA and been a movie star, but she gave that up and do theater with me in New York.
She’s brave.
She’s a great dancer, infectious. She makes me wish I could dance.
She always says when she doesn’t know something, or hasn’t read a book, or seen a film or a play, whereas I fake it and say something like “I haven’t seen it for a while”.
My crazy ideas are her favorite things to figure out how to execute.
She’s my favorite actress.

Pulled chai made by a tea seller, or "chai wallah". Here's how masala chai is made at the famous Krishna's Tea Stall. Ingredients include black tea, fresh whole milk, water, black peppercorns, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom. Unlike many milky teas, which are brewed in water with milk later added, traditional masala chai is often brewed directly in the milk.

Masala chai (Hindi: मसाला चाय, literally "mixed-spice tea"; Urdu: مصالحہ چائے‎) is a flavoured tea beverage made by brewing black tea with a mixture of aromatic Indian spices and herbs. Originating in India, the beverage has gained worldwide popularity, becoming a feature in many coffee and tea houses. Although traditionally prepared by a decoction of green cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks, ground cloves, ground ginger, and black peppercorn together with black tea leaves, retail versions include tea bags for infusion, instant powdered mixtures, and concentrates. The noun "chai" alone refers to the beverage tea; in some places, chai is an acceptable equivalent for masala chai.

In many Eurasian languages, chai or cha is the word for tea. This comes from the Persian چای chay, which originated from the Chinese word for tea 茶 chá. (The English word tea, on the other hand, comes from the Teochew dialect of Chinese teeh.) In English, this spiced tea is commonly referred to as masala chai or simply chai, even though the term refers to tea in general in the origin language. Numerous United States coffee houses use the term chai latte or the redundant term chai tea latte for their version to indicate that the steamed milk, much like a regular cafè latte, is mixed with a spiced tea concentrate instead of espresso. By 1994 the term had gained currency on the U.S. coffeehouse scene.

Masala tea is a very popular beverage in South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka). People start their day by consuming a cup of tea. This first cup of tea is fondly called 'bed tea'. Throughout the day people consume many cups of tea. Every street corner in places of business has a 'Chai Walla', a tea maker who brings hot tea to people's places of business whether they are retail businesses or commercial.
