【#自由約 #FreespaceHappening】感謝大家來到二月的自由約，與我們一起在藝術公園分享香港本土音樂！當中 GDJYB 雞蛋蒸肉餅 為我們帶來五首作品，細訴他們眼中的香港文化。演出中的四首樂曲更配合了由 香港展能藝術會 Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong 提供的 #劇場視形傳譯 服務，讓在場不同能力的觀眾均可以感受音樂的力量。
劇場視形傳譯把手語傳譯提昇至藝術層次，除了翻譯文字及語言，亦引入表演元素，讓觀賞者更能投入音樂的韻味。音樂演出亦會配合手語歌傳譯，除了讓手語使用者能明白文字內容，亦讓非手語使用者可以欣賞另一項嶄新藝術呈現。

Thank you for being with us at #FreespaceHappening on 10 Feb! On Music Stage, local math rock band #GDJYB brought us five unique pieces that best captures the local vibe. Four of those were performed with #TheatricalInterpretation.
Theatrical Interpretation brings Sign Interpretation to an artistic level. In addition to translating text and speech, Theatrical Interpretation incorporates elements of performance which enable spectators to better appreciate the flavour and ambiance of the music performance. This allows sign language users to understand the text and non-sign-language users to appreciate new artistic renderings. A special thanks to Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong for making the service available to our audience members.

九月至三月，自由約將於每月第二個周末於藝術公園舉行，與大家發掘音樂、舞蹈、文學、市集、寵物、人文與自然，免費入場。藝術公園見！
From Sep to Mar, Freespace Happening is held for free at the Art Park every second weekend. Come join music, dance, crafts, books, pets activities and more. See you at the Art Park!
Familiarize with the unfamiliarity. It takes time to adapt but it's not how fast we can adapt to a new environment, but it's more to how flexible are we to want to change and adapt. Diving taught me to be patient and use lesser verbal communications like how much words can hurt. (But I think showing sign language like middle finger can kill too! Hahaha!!) Diving also taught me how to react calmly in a new surroundings. There's always ways to approach a single matter. But it's up to us how we want to react to it. Never stop at one choice, go for two options. Three makes a perfect alternatives. Be comfortable being uncomfortable. That's when I know I am still learning. 💪❤️

Dr. Sign is a mobile application created to tackle the low health access deaf patients get in healthcare settings. Its aim is mainly to provide better health access for deaf patients by improving the communication between deaf patients and healthcare professionals through the innovation of tools such as an interactive chat that uses real-time speech-to-text features and a platform to learn British Sign Language (BSL). This ideation helps deaf patients to have better access to health in utilizing a more user-friendly avenue, potentially raises awareness for healthcare professionals to understand the issue, and possibly equips both deaf patients and healthcare professionals with BSL.
