‘Gulu Gulu’ is a KadazanDusun word which means “a long time ago’. And that is your word of the day. 😉

Reminiscing Sabah Fest digitally!
One of Sri Pelancongan Sabah’s proud event projects is Sabah Fest - an event that is held to celebrate the colourful and rich culture of Sabah. The event incorporates traditional dance, music, food and more!
Back in 2016, we brought Gulu Gulu to the stage. The title carries the meaning of “a long time ago” in Kadazan Dusun term, where it focused on the adventures of the legendary Sabah warrior, Mat Salleh.
You can still watch the full theatre performances by purchasing our DVD sets at IG: @kadaikutm.

Some food delivery are better than the others especially when there are lobsterS and beerS. Haha. Thank you @k3ith_ng for the birthday treat.
For those who might not know, I am very slow in my postings and I post according to what I like. No post schedule and this is one of them which is a throwback from June. 😂😂😂
Recently, I have been crazy busy but I can finally find the true meaning of instagram in my life. It is just part of my life which started as a place to document what I like. However, over the years I did lost sight of it and tbh social media really evolved a lot too. Nowadays nothing is instant, unedited or without filter like how it was many years ago.
During CB period, my love for coffee, baking and cooking have reignited. So for me now, instagram is just a place to post whatever I like cos I cherish quality time spent with genuine people that has no hidden agenda more. Simplicity is da best.
Very thankful for the time I spent with likeminded people with positive vibes these days. Believe it or not, God has gone ahead to path our day. So just do our best and the rest will follow. Don't cry over people who are no longer in our life. They are not here for a good reason. Have faith, the best has yet to come. Good night world, with a grateful and contented heart, I rest.

Life is never a bed of roses. Throughout our life, we are constantly being tested and challenged. Life's stressors occurs, and it's inevitable (loss of love ones, break ups, divorce, loss of job etc).
Uncomfortable situations exist so that we are forced to grow, and move forward. When we feel comfortable, we want to continue staying in that sweet spot. It's when shit hits the fence, that we will seek for alternatives, sometimes even find deeper meaning as to why certain things happened to us and not others.
Of course, it's easy to talk about it. But the fact is, some people bounce back easily from their adversities, while others are stuck in the rut for a long time. Why is that so? Why are some people more resilient than other?
At times like this, positive coping is essential in helping one adapt and adjust to the major changes in our lives. Some examples of positive coping are seeking support from family, friends or professionals, relaxation of any sorts (sleep included), physical recreation, even venting too. What are some of your coping mechanisms? Are they healthy or unhealthy?
Join me on 9 Aug 2020 (lets celebrate National Day together!) 2pm-330pm, as I share what positive coping is, how to cope in a less destructive and healthier way, and some personal tips that have worked wonders for me. As always, sign up link can be found in @wonderandwellness and mine bio, as well as my igstory! See you then! ❤
