[Short Share] 🔥 KHÓA HỌC 3 THÁNG TRẢI NGHIỆM THỰC TẾ, NÂNG CAO TIẾNG ANH Ở THÁI LAN (PARTIAL & FULL SCHOLARSHIP) 🔥

Alo alo, chị vừa mới được một bạn Schofans giới thiệu chương trình này cực thú vị luôn nè, đảm bảo các em sẽ thích, đặc biệt là những bạn vừa muốn nâng cao trình Tiếng Anh của mình bằng cách thực hành thực tế, vừa muốn được đi ra nước ngoài trải nghiệm, kết bạn với bạn bè năm châu nè :D

Chương trình School of English for Engaged Social Service (SENS) đã chính thức mở đơn cho khóa năm 2021. Tóm tắt một số thông tin quan trọng:
1. SENS 2021 tìm kiếm 18 học viên, không phân biệt độ tuổi, không yêu cầu cao về tiếng Anh vì một trong các mục tiêu của khóa học là giúp học viên nâng cao khả năng tiếng Anh.
2. Nếu trình độ tiếng Anh tốt có thể apply volunteer tutor, sẽ được hỗ trợ gần như toàn bộ chi phí (free room and board, and free travel on group excursions).
3. Học phí cho một học viên là $6000 và có học bổng dựa trên năng lực và nhu cầu (Partial and full scholarships are available, based on merit and need). SENS luôn khuyến khích mọi người apply dù khả năng tài chính của mình đang như thế nào vì chắc chắn SENS sẽ hỗ trợ hết mình để đưa học viên phù hợp đến khóa học.
4. Chủ đề SENS 2021 là Cultivating Women’s Leadership in the Work for Climate Justice nên ưu tiên ứng viên nữ, nhưng nam vẫn được ứng tuyển.
5. Nếu bạn phải cách ly tại chỗ tại Thái Lan, bạn cần đến trước thời gian khóa học diễn ra 1 tuần và SENS sẽ hỗ trợ ăn ở trong thời gian bạn cách ly. Lần nữa, SENS lại khuyến khích bạn apply dù chưa biết tình hình như thế nào vào năm 20201.

Ngoài ra, đây là 3 điều thú vị nhất của SENS theo review của bạn Anh Thy đã join chương trình này:
- Không chỉ học là thực sự sống với nhau trong 3 tháng tại Wongsanit Arsham - một nơi rất trong lành, bình yên và xinh xắn. 3 tháng là cơ hội tốt để xây dựng tình bạn với những người bạn từ rất nhiều quốc gia.
- Khóa học có rất nhiều chuyến đi (field trips). Năm em tham gia được đi vào trung tâm Bangkok, đi chùa trên núi để phỏng vấn nhà sư, đi biển để phỏng vấn một cộng đồng... và còn nhiều chuyến đi nhỏ khác mọi người tự tổ chức nữa (picnic, workshop...).
- SENS thực sự tạo ra một môi trường an toàn, tin tưởng và khích lệ. Em là một người hướng nội nên khá nhạy cảm với tác động của môi trường đến bản thân, cũng rất để ý đến kiểu môi trường mà mình sẽ học và sinh sống để đảm bảo mình phù hợp và được là mình ở môi trường đó. SENS là một nơi như vậy.

各隊伍繳交5分鐘實地探索Vlog影片給主辦單位由主辦單位同時間公布在本會臉書進行兩週人氣選拔並於2020年3月7日成果發表會暨評選會議當天頒發最佳人氣獎項並給予獎金新台幣1萬元整而該獲選隊伍須製作本屆成果影片 。
Each team of participants must submit a 5-minute video composed from exploring Vlog. A 2-week long competition will be held on the Facebook page of organizer to select the most popular video. A presentation will be held on March 7, 2020, for the final round selection. The winner will receive NTD$10,000 and will compose the production for the year.

【轉知】加州大學爾灣分校(UCI)楊信獎學金計畫合作案


一、行政院政務顧問楊信先生在美所設立之「楊信家族基金會」（J. Yang & Family Foundation），在駐洛杉磯辦事處教育組協助下重新規劃「楊信獎學金計畫」（J. Yang Scholarships），同時擴大獎助金額，以鼓勵美國大學積極招收臺灣學子赴美就學，並與臺灣各大學進行合作，為在該學府就讀或任教的師生，提供赴臺灣進行教育交流及活動，或在校內推動臺灣相關研究的獎助機會，雙向培育臺灣及美國優秀人才，促進臺美學術及教育交流，以發揮基金會最大的獎助能量及效益。該獎學金計畫自107年8月起，由駐洛杉磯辦事處教育組協助擬定簡章、徵求及審查計畫書、決定獎助金額、洽談捐贈協議及辦理捐贈儀式等，歷時一年完成，總計捐贈包括UCI等5所位於南加州之頂尖學府5年共550萬美元。

二、UCI成立於1965年，設有222個學位課程，目前學生數3.6萬名，該校107學年計有臺灣留學生280名，包括166名大學部學生、114名研究生。在甫公布之2020年《美國新聞與世界報導》最佳大學排行中，該校名列第36名，單以公立大學而論，排行第9。所獲楊信獎學金獎助為期5年，每年20萬美元；其中用於臺灣學生來美就學經費，佔76%；而UCI學生赴臺學習和教授雙向講學及交流經費，佔24%。



三、該校以教育部最新一期高教深耕計畫中核定全球鏈結（Global Taiwan）全校型國際競爭學校為執行對象，為我國學子創造到UCI就讀，以及UCI學生到4校學習和教授雙向合作交流的機會，全數6項子計畫，受益人數可達百人。項目包括：

(一)研究生獎助計畫（J. Yang Graduate Fellowships）5年5名：設立每年1名7萬美元的研究生獎學金，提供即將入學該校資訊與計算機科學學院（ICS）碩士或博士班的研究生，待遇包括全額學雜費、生活津貼等。第二年起，ICS規劃經由學校的獎助管道，提供受獎生其餘3至4年的財務支持。

(二)研修獎助計畫（J. Yang Undergraduate Study Abroad Awards）5年5名：本項獎助將提供每年1名來自4校的大學部學生，在UCI交換研修一學年的費用，用於支付學雜費等開銷，且不限於特定專業或學院。

(三)大學部獎助計畫（J. Yang Scholarships）5年20名：設立每年提供4名大學部獎助計畫，自新生或轉學生中甄選受獎生提供資助，以幫助他們在UCI就學期間減輕學費負擔。

(四)暑期赴臺研習獎助計畫（J. Yang Summer Abroad Awards）5年50名：本項獎助每年為10名UCI大學部學生或研究生於暑期赴臺進行為期4週研究和教育活動的機會。獎助用於支付機票、餐飲、交通、旅遊保險、食宿等，學生將自行負擔暑期學費。

(五)教授赴臺獎助計畫（J. Yang Travel Awards for Faculty）5年10名：每年提供2名UCI教授帶領學生前往合作學校訪問4週，進行講學、與學生小組研討及演講的機會。

(六)臺灣教授獎助計畫（J. Yang Faculty Awards） 5年10名：每年UCI將邀請2名來自4校的教授到校訪問2週，獎助將用於提供機票和住宿相關開銷，以進行相互有益的知識共享、演講活動及會議，並與學生互動及文化交流的機會。
