High up on the mountain almost reach the clound lies a fairytale land of Svaneti. The Svans (სვანი) who lives there are an ethnic subgroup of the Georgians. With population of around 20,000 Svaneti or the roof of europe are among the most rural place in Europe.
Svans have retained many of their old traditions, including blood revenge. Their families are small, and the husband is the head of his family. The Svan strongly respect the older women in families.

Even today they still live in a small group with close relationship with animals.

Once upon a time, there was an ancient town. An enemy encircled the fortress launched a siege. the Supreme Magi prayed. Once the prey was heard. Large piece of the Holy Fire fell down from the top of the Fire Temple-Tower. A beautiful girl came out from the fire. She had long fire-colored hair. The crowd went down on their knees and started to pray to her

He took off the helmet and saw that the fortress' pahlevan was a beautiful girl with long fire-colored hair. He fell in love with her for her beauty and bravery. He asked her to marry him and she gave him her hand in marriage.
