My 2nd coral! This is from the species Acropora, its special because it has 2 colours. The polips are red and the rest is green. Acropora species are some of the major reef corals responsible for building the immense calcium carbonate substructure that supports the thin living skin of a reef.

It will be put at the house reef of Borneo Divers Mabul Resort. We have tagged it and now when can monitor its growth and progress! This also serves as an education platform for tourists and divers alike. This will help them understand the importance of corals and why its important for us to get serious about #conservation .
