Sending Asher to his enrichment class every Sunday means we get to explore some eateries nearby. Restoran Hor Por Cuisine is one such accidental find.
It is family run restaurants located in segambut area and they take pride in their Lui Cha dish (RM13). The warm green soup is a mixture of mint and parsley leaves, sesame seeds, peanuts, green tea and anchovies stock. Do inform them if you prefer vegetarian version. Just mix all the side dishes (fuzhuk, black eyed beans, long beans, toasted peanuts, choy poh), warm soup and rice together for a hearty meal.
Their braised pork mui choy and salted fish minced pork party were not bad too. The Hakka abacus however was a let down.
This restaurant serves one of the best Lui Cha that one can find in KL. Do try it yourself!
