#你是你本身的靈感女神

每個創作人和設計師，都會被問：你的靈感哪裡來？還有，誰是你的繆思女神？

希臘神話中，繆思女神負責掌管藝術以及人類的創造力與靈感；現實中，繆思是一個可以為藝術家提供靈感去創作的人。很多藝術家也有自己的繆思女神。

可以啟發藝術家、成為別人創作裡的靈感，無論是畫作、歌曲、詩詞⋯⋯是多浪漫的一件事情。直至有一天，當我也必須尋找靈感去創作，出現了一個突如其來的想法：

“Be Your Own Muse.”

為甚麼不可以？明明每天在看不同的書、見不同的人、在生活裡感受的是自己、自己在挑選生活。為甚麼要等待別人成為自己的繆思，或者自己成為別人的繆思？自己成為自己的繆思，不是更酷嗎？

為了在自己身上尋找靈感，我有以下幾個小習慣：

第一，拍照、寫作，寫下自己的心情。

記錄路上有甚麼可以啟發到你的，拍下它，可以的話把這些照片也上傳Instagram。你會發現很快便有一整個記錄。不要覺得那是日常的瑣事而已：「我拍的都是自己的雙腳、吃了甚麼甜點、看到的天空而已，沒甚麼好看又具啟發性的東西啊⋯⋯」

先不要小看自己，也不用想像這與其他人的生活有甚麼差別，很多時候，其實也是相仿的事情。但電影裡的一句對白，還是散文中的一段文字，也是值得記下的。你不知道，甚麼時候回首，那會給你帶來怎麼樣的啟發。我記得初初開始玩Instagram時，我也只是當它為一本digital的visual diary。當然，喜歡質感的話，也可以拍些即影即有相片，把心情用筆寫在在小本子上。

A typical graphic designers' day out。My friend Adelle's second visit to Bristol & we had a really great day walking around the city, buying stamps, popping into random quirky bookstores, flea market, visiting the museum... and ended the day with the most mesmerising sunset with gelato at Harbourside.
