Russia expels 150 diplomats and closes US consulate in retaliation against UK allies
俄羅斯驅逐60名美國外交官
Russia will close the American consulate in St. Petersburg and expel diplomats in retaliation over the expulsion of scores of Russian diplomats from the US, Canada and the European Union earlier this week.
俄羅斯將關閉美國駐聖彼德堡領事館，並驅逐外交官，以報復這個禮拜早前美國、加拿大和歐盟(EU)驅逐大批俄羅斯外交官的舉動。
The announcement from Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov kicks off Moscow’s official response to the co-ordinated diplomatic sanctions western countries took to punish Russia for the poison attack against former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal in the UK.

In a broad show of solidarity with London, more than 20 EU and Nato member countries expelled more than 150 Russian diplomats which they said were undeclared spies, the largest such wave since Soviet times.
20多個歐盟和北約(Nato)成員國驅逐了150多名俄羅斯外交官，稱這些人都是以外交官身份為掩護的間諜。此舉是對英國的廣泛聲援，也是自蘇聯時期以來規模最大的驅逐行動。
Russia will be expelling the same number of diplomats in return, said Mr. Lavrov.

Moscow has railed against the UK for accusing the Russian government of the attack against Mr. Skripal and his daughter Yulia with a military-grade nerve agent developed in the Soviet Union.
英國指責俄羅斯政府使用蘇聯當年開發的一種軍用級神經毒劑，對Skripal及其女兒Yulia發動襲擊。莫斯科方面對英國反咬一口。
London has said Moscow was to blame for the attack with a high degree of certainty because it was the only actor that had the capability, a motive and a record of such assassinations. Earlier on Thursday, a Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman called these allegations “a world-class fake” and accused the UK of engaging in “legal nihilism”.
英國表示，幾乎可以確定的是，俄羅斯要對這次襲擊事件負責，因為它是唯一擁有實施此類暗殺的能力、動機和記錄的一方。週四早些時候，俄羅斯外交部一位女發言人將這些指控稱為「世界級的造假」，並指責英國祭出「法律虛無主義」。
Mr. Lavrov said the US was being notified of Moscow’s response to the diplomatic sanctions as he was speaking.
Lavrov表示，在他宣佈的同時，美國被告知了俄羅斯對外交制裁的回應措施。
“Literally at this moment, US ambassador Jon Huntsman is being summoned to our foreign ministry, where my deputy Sergei Ryabkov will explain to him the contents of these retaliatory measures with regard to the US,” Mr. Lavrov said.

The US consulate in Russia’s second-largest city would be required to close in two days, he said.

He added that Moscow would hit back against the other countries that had announced diplomatic sanctions against Russia in a strictly reciprocal way as well.
