Tribute to Almarhum Dr Husin Hamid Hassan

This fatherly great scholar has passed away. He was born in Egypt but grew up as a global citizen. His noted signature underlying the fatwas of so many Islamic financial products has been a common feature in Islamic finance.

I met with him for the first time while presenting my paper on Financing Intellectual Property (in Arabic) at Dallah Barakah seminar in Mekah in Ramadhan (around 1997). He said to me "Dr Mohammad, you are courageous enough to write on this". I later joined the AAOIFI being the youngest scholar in 2000. He was the prominent member in AAOIFI. I have learnt a lot from him during AAOIFI intensive series of meeting.

Then I worked with him officially through Dar al-Istithmar's Shariah Board in Oxford, UK (2005-2010).

I enjoyed reading all his articles & books .

He was so active in many things. Shariah advisory. Talks. Articles. Fatwas.

He also innovated many new things in Islamic finance.

Two things that I am intrigued to share about him.

He told me that he took two courses concurrently while doing his first degree. He did Shariah and Law. He got stuck because some of the exams were clashing.

"I sat for 40 minutes for my Shariah exam and I rode my motorcyle for 30 minutes to sit for my law paper for the last 40 minutes. With the grace of Allah, I passed with distintion". For me, he is the legend of intensity.

Another episode of life worth tellling happened in Mecca in 1998. After Zohor prayer, I stopped at one of the local restaurants alongside the crowded streets (i.e.sha'biyyah). While I was eating the beriyani, this great scholar came in & sat down at one of the tables together with many other ordinary people. He ate what others were having. He is a personality of humility.

Can we find the replacement of him? We may find someone of his credential but we might not find someone of his character & personality.

I always consider him as the father, mentor, colleague & inspirator.

May Allah bless his soul & forgive all his sins. May we be gathered again in the Paradise.

Admin: How many years has this project been done?
Teamwork: I have done it for 3 years.

Admin: What are you doing now?
Team: 3 of us are studying. Mr. Wop is also a streamer.

Admin: I have been a streamer for how many years?
Wop: I have done it since 2014, the early age. But Ayutthaya that I have been relying on it for 3 years.

Admin: Why are you doing Ayutthaya?
Wop: I want to see Ayutthaya come back beautiful again.

Admin: Is it difficult for us?
Wop: It's difficult.

Admin: How many % has the job gone now?
Wop: now it can be 80-90 %

Admin: How is this time to find information?
Wop: There are some chronicles. There are some brothers to go. The real area is going to go to take a clip to take photos of what it looks like. What it looks like.

This episode we are exploring the city of Kyoto! I have to say it is the most unique and once in a lifetime experience to be able to shoot in Kyoto without any tourist or even locals.
Last visit to Kyoto I couldn't believe how empty it was, so since I was in Kyoto for work, I really wanted to take a day off to show you all how things look like during the pandemic and how empty the streets are.

Demon slayer,
it’s definitely one of the best ANIME in 2019. Not only because of this Episode 19, The whole character and story design, the music and the graphic, every aspect of this ANIME all presents perfectly.
I’ve seen many piano channel has already post their cover of this beautiful song right after this episode came out, but unfortunately those couple days I was dealing with other things and unable to watch it.

So I finally watched it yesterday, and it was, yeah, really crazy. I practiced for about one hour and recorded it for another one hour, edited the video for about 3-4 hour and this is it.

Sometimes we’ll think that, if the algorithm keep ignoring you,
then there’s no necessary to follow the new ANIME music and try to make new video as soon as possible, 'cuz no matter how hard you try, there’s always someone one step of you, there always will be. And even though some of those are low-quality videos, you can’t even sure that audience could tell it. The VIEWS is everything.

Some of you followers may found that recently we’re in the dumps about the situations of our channel.
Although we keep telling ourselves that everyone will be facing this moment eventually, but not like this.

We've seen some of our creator friends on YouTube or some of million-subs channel also facing serious algorithm problem, then we realized that this probably isn’t personal. but it’s still can’t stop us from being upset.

Really, it’s not about the money, it’s that, you make something good, something worth a look, but there’s no chance for it to shine. And the reasons are completely not related to MUSIC itself.

These kind of problems always exist, but YouTube “was” a place that could let creators no need to worried about it, and it’s also the reason that Musicians on YouTube grew crazily past couple years. I really miss the old days.

Anyway, we’ll just keep fighting, and maybe, find another way out. Recently we’re working on planning the future of our channel,
including “how do we survive when I finish studying in Japan and back to Taiwan to the army” and “new ideas, new series for the channel”. It seems all pretty hard in the future, let’s see what would happen LOL.

No matter what, our intention of making music video never change, which is sharing.
