Keep Calm and Dance On.

The fun doesn't have to stop at home and we refuse to let fear get the better of us in these precarious times.

We decided to have a workout last night even though it was the kids' bedtime. I guess it's my way of winding down after a long solo parenting day and I just needed something to reward myself for cooking two meals, running to the supermarket - which was not crowded and quite well stocked, phew - and doing three rounds of laundry.

It's heartening to see how my three little dance kakis love our workout sessions and they never fail to smile and laugh every time. The big sister is determined and passionate, the little sister is easily tickled and the boy makes the moves look too cute. This is definitely our favourite way to keep fit while bonding and having fun at the same time.

Of course, we eventually went to bed pretty late after having a shower and telling bedtime stories but I'm reminding myself it's okay to let go once in a while. The girls still woke up this morning to go to school on their own while the boy made it in time too. At most we will just take a quick afternoon nap later if they are feeling tired. So yup, we might not be so crazy to do this every night but I'm hoping we will do it more often because these moments are much too precious and I'm not sure they will still stay when my kids are all grown up.
