I am so excited that I have gotten my hair done at @thexcutsg with @ryan88888 to welcome my fav festive period.
For the past 4 years, I have placed all my trust in Ryan for all my hair styling decisions. In fact, it was Ryan who encouraged me to perm my hair in Jan and it is one of the best decision made. I can choose to blow straight my hair or let the curls do the talk. Oh yes, don’t get me started on how lasting the curls are. After 12 months, my curls are still there! And the hair colours that Ryan recommended alway get me heaps of praises. So if you are looking for a good hairstylist to get your hair done, don’t forget to make an appt with Ryan soon. 9 years ago today, I started my new journey here. It was a big decision to move to San Francisco and pursue a dream that I never thought about. 6 months before my departure, my sister asked what do I want to do for my future, I have no answer. She reminded me that when I was a kid I love to DIY, so why not doing something which is design-related? With no art/design background, I crossed the Pacific ocean and get enrolled in an art school. I am so thankful for everyone who has supported me and help me to grow to become a UX designer which I never ever thought of. But yes, I am here and yes, I found my passion which was never revealed until my clever sister who saw it from my heart. I can't say how much love to my parents who believe in me all the time and giving me all the loves. And I am so proud to present myself that never say never, and find your passion for life. And don't forget to thanks any one in your life, without them, there is no you

過去一年得到了很多，也割捨了許多生活中不必要的貪念✌🏻
因為太想得到所有人的肯定，結果沒有好好的照顧自己的情緒和需求。
昨天看了一則關於「脆弱的力量」的影片。
真正勇敢的人是懂得面對自己的脆弱，正視它並且與它對話。能夠解決很好，但如果暫時無法排解，也接受它屬於自己一部分的事實。

過年期間我要狂歡一整週，把所有脆弱都吃光光！

I have learned to filter things I don’t need in the past couple months.
Luckily there are many friends and family with me during this learning process!
With their support and company, I started facing my insecurity.
Yesterday I came across this TED TALK video called ‘The Power of Vulnerability’
People who are truly confident of themselves are the people who recognize their insecurity, talk about it and try to deal with the feeling.
When they can’t find a way to get away from it, they also have the courage to accept it.

他從獄中寄了封信給我，說是我的樂迷。
在網際網路盛行的年代，人們總是用著私訊、留言、簡訊，述說著喜歡與愛。
可在這天，一個忙得天昏地暗的日子裡，在昏暗的練琴室，我收到了一封手寫信。
拆開信上面有一個梅花輪廓的圖章，裡面寫著「祝福(3)」，另有一個檢查信件般的圖章，讓我明白了這是一封從獄中發出來的信。
他說偶然間看到我拉琴，覺得在我身上看到了對音樂的熱情與執著，以及我藉著音樂散發出來的感覺與力量。
他的信，給了那陣子十分茫然迷惑的我很大的力量。在古典與現代之間，在流行與藝術之中，我也常在想自己的定位在哪，是否都是做著自己喜歡的工作呢？他的信讓我明白，無論做什麼，只要能有人感受到我想表達的，就是一種幸福。而獄中的他，希望能將他給我的祝福，也再度回給他一些力量。
於是就寫了這首歌，希望某天當她重新回到社會上時，無論遇到再艱難的事情，都不要放棄，就讓這首歌，讓音樂而有所連結的我們，都能帶來無比的力量。

It’s another busy day as I was working on my song arrangement in the studio, I received a hand written letter from a fan.
As i opened the letter, there’s a flower shaped stamp on top says “Blessing, 3” seems to be an inspection check stamp, as I read the inspection text, i then realised it’s a letter from jail. He mentioned that he first saw my performance on the TV and started to follow my music, he enjoys the music and gets great support and motivation from it.
It’s always a pleasant moment to find when your music gives people strength because that also gives me great support and strength at the same time. Sometimes I’d also wonder, what’s the purpose of music? what’s the purpose of live performance? His letter made me realise one thing, no matter what we do or what we choose to do, if someone feels the strength and warmth from our expression, our giving, then its a form of happiness. As i read his letter, I decide to write a song as a blessing to him and to people in this world who are in their low mood, in need of strength, hope one day we all come thru these battle together, look forward to tomorrow as long as there is hope.
