This crispy chicken chop recipe was created with Hainanese pork chop in mind. Crispy & Juicy Hainanese Chicken Chop 海南炸鸡排
Ingredients:
Serves 2 pax

Marinated chicken
-----
2 boneless chicken leg - butterflied (roughly around 220g or 7.76oz each)
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
A few dashes of white pepper

Coating for marinated chicken
-----
~12 cream crackers
Some plain flour
~ 2 beaten egg

Gravy
-----
1 medium-sized red onion - sliced thinly
4 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce (can be replaced with ketchup)
200ml (6.76 fl oz) water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
2 tablespoons white vinegar
Some cornstarch solution

Other ingredients
