Very often, people ask me what it means to be a gentle/respectful positive parenting coach?
It's all very fancy talk for learning how to see the world through your child's eyes but responding as a calm confident parent.
I believe passionately in using techniques that focus on empathy and understanding, respect and love, but also following through on consequences and consistently creating and maintaining boundaries....without having to shame, guilt, yell, bribe or punish.
Is it possible? Absolutely!
