🌈《没有泪的天空》导演马杰飞曾担任电影、话剧、短片和MV男主角。副导演则是拥有双国籍的李安田，自小在美国和台湾两地成长，属于性格派演员，并且曾在美国受过名师指导拍摄及导演。导演马杰飞与副导李安田都在大学主修戏剧及音乐表演系，曾经执导多部话剧、短片和广告。

💘Synopsis: Jessie Chung plays a lively, cheerful girl who returns a lost item to its owner (John Lee) and is fired by her boss after arriving to work late. After many twists and turns, she finally finds a job as a caregiver and meets a rich young man (Terry Lim). The two begin to break the ice...

🌧 “Tearless Sky”, a touching stage play based on a classic romance novel, stars Jessie Chung, a performing actress in high demand. Symphony Theatre newcomers John Lee and Terry Lim also star in the play directed by Jeffrey Beh and Paul Lee, alongside many experienced actors.

🌈 Jeffrey Beh, director of “Tearless Sky”, has starred in movies, dramas, short films and music videos. Paul Lee, the assistant director, is a dual citizen who grew up between the U.S. and Taiwan. He is also a character actor and learned the craft of cinematography and directing under a few renowned instructors in the U.S. Director Jeffrey Beh and Assistant Director Paul Lee both majored in performing arts and music, and have directed many dramas, short films and commercials.

Growing up is going from ignorance to understanding, from holding on to letting go.
As we know not if we might live to see tomorrow,
We can only live life with no regrets when we learn to give and bless.
In doing so, a tearless sky is created that truly belongs to each one of us.

💕Symphony Theatre presents to all theatre lovers a brand-new masterpiece, “Tearless Sky”. It is a fast-paced, hotblooded drama that takes on theatre in an unorthodox way, incorporating film techniques on stage. Equipped with high-end audio equipment and an LED stage to display vivid backdrops, the audience gets a chance to enjoy an immersive feast of the senses. So far, six performances of “Tearless Sky” have been scheduled, with the premiere set on July 24 at Symphony Theatre. Stay tuned for more updates!

看到Christopher Chen附在獨立觀察的連結，披露日本記者黑木亮著手調查東京知事小池百合子的埃及開羅大學學歴史，所以整理了文章一半的中英對照如下，另外一半預期周末整理好再另外貼新版。

🔥偽造大學學位的指控困擾東京都知事小池百合子（Vol.4）
Allegations of fake university degree haunt Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike (vol.4)

💥自從現任東京都知事小池百合子（Yuriko Koike）於1992年成為國會議員以來，一直有謠言流傳稱，小池百合子（Koike）文飾美化她的學歷。
Ever since the incumbent Governor of Tokyo, Yuriko Koike became a Member of Parliament in 1992, rumors have been circulating that Koike embellished her academic credentials.

Koike claims to have graduated from Cairo University but if an Arabic speaker listens to her Arabic, her published academic credentials as a Cairo University graduate seems more than dubious.

Feeling a sense of duty as someone who learnt Arabic and graduated from an Egyptian university (MA, Middle East Studies from the American University in Cairo), I decided to investigate the allegations. After two years of investigation, I could not find any evidence, nor even the slightest hint that Koike graduated from Cairo University.

Koike happily told me ‘My father asked Dr. Hatem, then Egypt's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information, to swap my few months at Kwansei Gakuin University, a private university in Hyogo prefecture, and a few months at the language course at the American University in Cairo for the first year at Cairo University. ‘

In the ""Fake CV"" another Japanese woman who was attending another university in Egypt at the time says she was surprised that Koike had transferred in the second year at Cairo University. Another Japanese graduate of Cairo University whom I interviewed also remembered that Koike had transferred to the second year."

However, strict rules are in place to transfer to Egypt's state universities, including Cairo University. In order to transfer, a student must have earned credits at another university with the same or similar content and number of hours as the Egyptian state university’s curriculum and must have earned a certain number of grades. This was confirmed to me by the Central Transfers Office of Cairo University.

In the case of the 2016-17 academic year, for example, students are required to have at least imtiyaaz (excellent) grade from other university if the student wishes to transfer to the Faculty of Engineering or Medicine and at least jaiid jiddan (very good) grade in the case of faculties of practical study and at least jaiid (good) grade for those of theoretical study.

The aforementioned journalist Dalia Shibel told me that ""In Egypt state universities and private universities are two completely different systems. Even if you study at the American University in Cairo for 10 years obtaining necessary credits, you have to start as a first year student in Cairo University. This is the law of our country"". Therefore it is totally impossible that a person like Koike who has not finished a year at another university (and has not earned any credits) would be allowed to transfer."

Koike only attended Kwansei Gakuin University for several months at most. CASA at the American University in Cairo where she learnt Arabic is just a language school and does not offer any credits or degrees. If, as some Japanese people point out, Koike actually transferred to the second year at Cairo University in 1973, that is nothing but a fraudulent transfer. That means she was not eligible for graduation from the beginning.

As Koike does not appear to have fulfilled the requirements for transferring to a state university in Egypt, I sent a letter to Koike, to ask whether she was admitted in 1972 or 1973 but received no response (the full text of my questions to and response from Koike will appear later in this report).

The best university in Egypt is the American University in Cairo (private and American-accredit university) which ranks 395th in the world (tied with Kobe University in Japan). Third place in Egypt are Ain Shams University, Alexandria University, and Assiut University (all state universities) which rank 801-1000th in the world.

The Arabic-language biography of Hatem “The Diary of Abdel-Kader Hatem - Head of the October War Government"" published in Cairo in 2016 (written by an Egyptian journalist Ibrahim Abdel Aziz) states that Hatem had been on good terms with Yasuhiro Nakasone, former Prime Minister of Japan, since 1954 and that Nakasone introduced Yuriko Koike to him, a student at that time, as the daughter of his friend. On 6 October 1973, the October War (Yom Kippur War) broke out in Egypt. Egyptian and Syrian forces launched an attack on Israeli forces deployed in the Suez Canal and Golan Heights in an attempt to recapture territory occupied by Israel in the Six Day War (June War) in 1967.

In support of Egypt and Syria, the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC), raised oil prices by 1.4 times and caused the First Oil Crisis. #迷上英式英文【男神Cumberbatch的男神聲線】
#蕭叔叔講莎士比亞

演英國電視劇火紅的男神Benedict Cumberbatch擁有一把超重低音的磁性男生，身為聲音控的蕭叔叔，也不禁為之顛倒。這一短片，是Cumberbatch為BBC電視劇拍的廣告，題為A Lifetime of Original British Drama on the BBC。

其中他朗讀的一段文字，來自莎士比亞劇As You Like It的著名獨白All the World’s a Stage，講述人由呱呱墜地到衰老死亡的過程。全文如下。

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse’s arms.
Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress’ eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon’s mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

蕭叔叔輕輕用廣東話粗略解釋大意：

人生如舞台上七段戲。

第一階段，係又嘈又嘔奶嘅手抱BB。

第二階段，係lur地唔願意返學嘅小學雞。

第三階段，係sighing like furnace，整天唉聲嘆氣，要生要死，對住小事如愛人條眼眉都可以作到首慘情詩嘅超難頂lovers。

第四階段，係滿口古怪誓言，終日打打鬧鬧，為榮譽連砲彈都唔怕嘅軍人。

然後第五階段，開始變成離地中產，成為又肥又貪，滿口道理嘅官。

第六階段，身形漸漸縮水，開始衣不稱身，聲線變弱，由雄厚聲線，變到老人家嗰D好似吹口哨嘅vee vee聲。

第七階段，係second childishness。也就是說，你點嚟，就會點去，變番好似BB仔一樣，冇牙、冇眼、冇味覺、乜9都冇。

【明報專訊】讀莎士比亞，不應該是文學學生的專利。蕭叔叔的writing學生，不論長幼，都要讀莎士比亞的詩和劇。「點解要讀這些『英文的文言文』？」不少學生問。莎士比亞的的文字，的確同現代英文好不同，不論句式，詞序，用字，以至串法，都不一樣。假如不是要學寫古文，讀來作甚？主要有兩個原因。

第一，閱讀甚至背誦莎士比亞，有助掌握英文輕重音的節奏。英文這個語言，著重音節的輕重，這種輕重音相隔的節奏，好比中文的平仄，文筆是否流暢，好多時要看這個。不論寫作還是說話，不拿捏好輕重音，英文好難學得好。但這不是本文主旨，未來再跟大家詳談。

第二個原因，也是今天蕭叔叔要跟大家說的：多讀老莎的文字，有助解決寫作軟弱無力，言之無物，含糊不清，累贅不堪等港式英文常見的毛病。莎士比亞的文字有什麼特點？用字靈活多變而精簡，比喻新穎而深刻。今天蕭叔叔找來兩句取自莎士比亞的劇作和情詩的例子，跟大家一同感受他文字的創造力和感染力。

第一句來自戲劇 The Merchant of Venice。劇中反派角色猶太人 Shylock 借錢給男主角，合約訂明假如主角於時限前還不到錢，Shylock 就可割下他一磅重的肉，換句話說，就是要了他的命。後來主角週轉不靈，真的還不到錢，一直對主角恨之入骨的 Shylock 當然不會放過傷害主角的機會，有人問 Shylock 為何要堅持要履行合約，他說：

He hath disgraced me and hindered me half a million, laughed at my losses, mocked at my gains, scorned my nation, thwarted my bargains, cooled my friends, heated mine enemies—and what’s his reason? I am a Jew. […]

蕭叔叔翻譯技巧平平，只道個大意出來：他（男主角）不單累我唔見錢，仲常常羞辱我，冷待我，嘲笑我，只因我是個猶太人。大家留意兩個簡單的字：cooled 和 heated。兩個在此都是動詞，cooled my friends，大意就是破壞我同朋友之間的友誼，使朋友離我而去；heated my enemies 就是煽動我的敵人。這兩個字，都簡潔到極，但意思好出，一看就明。大家不妨想想自己會怎樣表達這兩句的意思。英文平平的人，可能會把前半部寫成：

made me lose my friends，或
caused my friends to leave me，或
undermined the relationship between me and my friends，之類。

後半部可能會變成：

made my enemies hate me even more。

非常長氣，而且表達還不夠簡單一句 cooled my friends，heated my enemies 生動、深刻。這是大師的功力。

第二句來自老莎的情詩（他的情詩是一絕，將來找幾首同大家讀讀）。老莎跟情人的關係若即若離，有時好high，有時 insecure。有次他寫:

To leave poor me thou hast the strength of law, since why to love I can allege no cause.

他說，你要離開我，實在有太多太多的理由，像連法律都會站在你那邊，因為我從來都配不起你：I can think of no reason why you should love me and stay with me.

要離開我，you have the strength of law！假如你要走，像法律明文寫出一樣堂皇的道理，都在你那邊。可看到老莎在這段關係裏的地位是如何卑微。大家請留意，這句的字，都是很淺的，但意義深遠，比喻深刻。也看 allege 一字。因為，你為什麼要愛我，我一個理由都想不到。Allege 這個法庭常用的動詞，跟前句的比喻呼應。你為什麼要愛我？我一個理由都呈不上。幾可憐！

篇幅有限，先講到這裏，只希望大家也感受到老莎文字可愛之處。讀莎士比亞，不是為了要寫這些「文言文」，而是為了學習他運用文字的 spirit。

방탄소년단《Film out 필름 아웃》 바이올린 커버 | Violin Cover by Lin Tzu An of Film out by BTS

Film out 是日本劇場版《Signal長期未解決事件搜查班》的主題曲，看到這劇名，固定在追韓劇的各位想必覺得眼熟，沒錯！這劇場版就是從超好看的韓劇《Signal信號시그널》改編的。
這一次日方推出劇場版，更邀請到防彈少年團接續演唱主題曲。

歌曲編排對很多聽習慣Kpop套路的人來說應該不太習慣，反而帶有J-pop的感覺。光是聽旋律的記憶點不多，也沒有中毒性，但可以感覺到是首傷感的歌，溫柔地說著在心裡不會消失的人的故事。

可能是珍惜當下概念已經被講爛了，只好用更新的包裝方式講故事，現在更多是用穿越的方式來呈現已經不復存在的眷戀、依依不捨和撫今追昔。我們甚至用自己想像中的時光機，想著那個人好像就站在對面，但是可望不可及，當想伸出手觸碰若隱若現的對方，他卻如同過眼煙雲消失不見了。

是不是頗有我上首cover的錯位時空感，我吹過你吹過的晚風，那我們算不算相擁的遺憾，那就做個有你的夢吧，再擁有一次，醒來之後再失去一次，反覆練習之後，即使沒有時光機穿越回到過去，也應該可以熟悉夢以外沒有你的日子！

Film out is the ending theme song of the Signal the Movie Cold Case Investigation Unit, the Japanese TV series. Anyone familiar with the KR dramas may relate this one to the KR drama with the same name, which was super famous earlier and it is =]
This JP version was a remake of KR drama "Signal 시그널." The song was written by BTS member Jungkook in collaboration with the lead vocalist of Japanese rock power trio Back Number, Iyori Shimizu.

Cherishing the moment may sound like too old-school or what, now we have to package the story with new concept, like going back to the past with time machine. The one I miss sooo much seems to be standing opposite there, but he is out of reach. When I want to reach out and touch him hug hum, he just disappear away.

I still miss you soooo much. I want to be with you, it is as simple and as complicated as that.
Until then, I'd feel the sun and the wind as if you are holding me.
But now all I can do is have a dream with you where you are with me. It'll be like being there with you in the dream and losing you after waking up. After being repeated again and again every night and day and practicing like this, even there is no such time machine to travel back to the past, I would be good at the days without you after waking up in reality (oh but I would def choose to love you if there were a time machine taking me back to the past).
