Finally EMCO got lifted here at my area. I went out for stairs training at a condo near to my house.
Did a 10 reps of 20 floors (60 meters) at a progressive effort with the last 2 reps at a cool down pace. Whole session without the used of metronome and I am glad to complete the session this morning after more than 3 weeks of not getting any stairs training physically.
I am happy with the payback from the effort of putting in daily visualisation of my stairs training mentally.
Splits:
2:27 | 2:21 | 2:19 | 2:15 | 2:11 |
2:08 | 1:54 | 1:46 | 2:30 | 2:11 |
With a great session this morning, and EMCO is finally lifted here at my area, I will be making an attempt to clock the fastest time on the coming 15th May to run up Burj Khalifa virtually (Level 160, 628 meters, 2909 steps). I will be aiming for the 628 meter elevation climb (10 reps of 20 Floors + a rep of 10 Floors to make it 630 meters) as elevation is the most accurate unit compared to number of steps and number of floors.
*Total number of steps are different from building to building, and not forget to mention step's height as well.
*If you do not have stairs to climb, you may step up and down from a stool or chair. Measure the height of the step up. For example a 30 cm stool, take 628m (62,800 cm) divide the 30 cm each step up and you will need to do a total of 2,093.33 times of step up or make it 2,094 times.
The objective of this Charity Challenge is to raise fund for 2,000 underprivileged children in Nepal, Uganda, Peru, Tanzania, and Lebanon with the day-to-day essentials during the COVID Crisis. Donate a minimum of AED 50 (USD 13.61 or Euro 12.60 or RM 59.01) to take part in this event.
