I am a huge fan of traditional food and I’ve recently recreated this dish at home. Due to the minimalism of the dish, the taste of the rice gets as much attention as the chicken so it is important to pick the right grains. The idea is so that the rice plays an active role in complementing the chicken, instead of just being a “filler”. I’ve decided to use Golden Peonies by @sazarice and the result was surprisingly great. The AAA-grade rice has a delightful fragrance and turns out soft and bouncy when cooked - good enough to be
eaten on its own! It is also certified halal! 🌾
