Gotta open a nice sake to enjoy with buddy! 🍶😊 my buddy invited me to a Japanese restaurant & I brought Raifuku Junmai Daiginjo Ultra 8 to dinner. The rice polishing ratio is only 8%! It means 92% of rice has been polished away! The Sake industry has a new wave of making “super premium sake with very refined rice polishing ratio". What is “super refined rice ratio sake”? The more you polish away the outer part of the rice, the less rice polishing ratio you get, and the higher the grading for the sake. This Sake is categorized as super refined rice ratio sake. The rice polishing ratio of this Sake is 8% (92% being polished away), it has only picked the 8% heart from 200 kg rice. It tastes like water in the beginning and it slowly brings out white flower, melon and light pear notes with licorice finish. Great pairing with abalone, chicken soft bones & more! It’s more tasty to be served on a salt plate. Cheers!🎉🐣🍶
